Aryan Empire Archaeologist

Aryan Empire archaeologist

Our discovery in the Aryan Empire was spectacular. We have discovered that they had swept into India through the Hindu Kush Mountains. They came from the region of the Caucasus Mountains and they had learned and adapt with other people. They later migrated to India and took over the Indus valley civilization. From the ruins we had found, their civilization lasted from 1500 B.C. to 1000 B.C. In their ruins, we had found a special kind of written language called Sanskrit; their oral religious traditions were all written down in that language. In their written ruins, we saw that they had lots of oral religious traditions called the Vedas. These include hymns, prayers and rituals in their ceremony. These are all important evidence about the impact of ancient India.

From their ruins, we learned that the Aryans worshipped many gods. The most important god they have was Indra, a warrior god; there are drawings of the gods on walls and they were all having some sort of position in their picture. Later, we looked around the ruins and saw an open-air altar. From our view, we think it was where the Aryan gave sacrifices to the gods for worshipping. These sacrifices are rewarded with wealth, healthy children, long life, and success in war. We also looked at the their village systems. From their village life, we could tell that they had been farmers, herder. From our research we found in the Aryan area, they had placed great value in cattle. They measured the wealth in terms of cattle. There were also different social classes written in hymn explaining the four lasses called varna. The highest classes were the Brahmans, or priest. Then it was the Kshatriyas, or warriors. The third class was vaisyas, the landowners, merchants and herders. The last class was the Sudras, servants and peasants. Then later, the system has changed to being the caste system that affected India.

Our findings in the Aryans Empire provide us with lots of things that might have impacted India. Their religion, their kind of writing. This made a huge change in India. The Aryan Empire was a really amazing civilization.
